Mieszkanie w nowym budynku, któremu trzeba było dodać charakteru bez sięgania po ciężką dekorację. Rozwiązaniem okazał się jeden powtarzalny zabieg: sztukateria na ścianach i lekkie profile, poprowadzone konsekwentnie przez hol, salon i sypialnie. Wystarczyło, żeby gładkie deweloperskie ściany zaczęły mieć rytm.

Kolorystycznie wnętrze trzyma się bieli i bardzo jasnych szarości, przełamanych ciepłem dębowej podłogi ułożonej w jodełkę. Kuchnia jest maksymalnie wyciszona — białe fronty bez uchwytów i wyspa wykończona kamieniem o wyraźnym rysunku, która przejmuje rolę jedynego mocnego akcentu w strefie dziennej.

Metal pojawia się w jednym tonie: mosiądz na lampach i drobnych detalach. Ta konsekwencja sprawia, że mimo klasycznego detalu wnętrze czyta się jako współczesne, a nie stylizowane.

An apartment in a new building that needed character without resorting to heavy decoration. The answer turned out to be a single repeated move: wall mouldings and slim profiles, carried consistently through the hall, living room and bedrooms. That alone was enough to give the flat developer walls a rhythm.

The colour scheme holds to white and very pale greys, warmed by an oak floor laid in herringbone. The kitchen is kept as quiet as possible — white handleless fronts and an island finished in a strongly figured stone, which takes on the role of the single strong accent in the living area.

Metal appears in one tone only: brass on the lighting and the smaller details. That consistency is what lets the interior read as contemporary rather than period pastiche, despite the classical detailing.
